It is a typical picturesque mountain village with whitewashed houses, pretty flower lined streets, and friendly people, a perfect place for enjoying a drink or tapas in one of the bars or restaurants. The surrounding area is ideal for walking, bird-watching, photography, cycling or simply taking a relaxing evening stroll and watching the sun go down over the nearby lake. There are several shops, a bakery, a charming village square, weekly market, banks, ATM, and medical centre.
