Holiday Rentals Terms & Conditions

The rental agreement between Holiday Rentals Spain and the Client is subject to the following conditions.



The contract is between the Client (person making the booking) who must be 18 years old or over, and Holiday Rentals Spain. Booking constitute a binding contract which is determined by confirmation of availability of the property for the dates indicated by the Client and receipt of Booking Deposit by Holiday rentals Spain.

Confirmation of Booking is issued by Holiday Rentals Spain once Booking Deposit is paid in full and confirmation of the reservation is sent by Holiday Rentals Spain. No other communication whether verbal or in writing constitutes a contract or agreement by Holiday Rentals Spain to provide any services or properties.

The agreement is governed by Spanish law.


Booking is confirmed after receipt of Booking Deposit (25% of total rental). Upon receipt of funds, an email confirmation is sent by Holiday Rentals Spain confirming the details of the property, total rental cost, the booking Deposit paid, and the balance due. Balance due must be paid to the owner of the property on arrival before the client is allowed to occupy the property for the duration of the rental period.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment of the balance due must be made in cash and only in Euros.


Our prices are in euros and include all taxes.


Cancellation must be made in writing by the Client. The deposit paid is non-refundable.


If the Client wishes to alter dates or other arrangements, Holiday Rentals Spain will do its best to accommodate Client’s request. However, Holiday Rentals Spain retains the right to charge an administration fee to cover additional costs, time and administration of any changes.

Group size

Properties must not be occupied by more people than the stated maximum number in the property description and the rental confirmation. If the Client wishes to change the number of guests, they must request any change in writing. Holiday Rentals Spain will not unduly or unreasonably reject the request for additional people, unless the number of guests exceeds the permitted maximum. Failure to observe this will result in the Client and their group being refused admission to the property, and will be regarded as late cancellation of the booking.


Most properties do not allow pets. If the Client wishes their pets to accompany then on their holidaying, the Client must mention this in their original enquiry and during the booking process. Prior permission must be obtained as most owners do not allow pets.


Holiday Rentals Spain makes every effort to ensure holiday properties match the description on the website, but Holiday Rentals Spain are not responsible for any services provided by the owners, or any other third parties. However Holiday Rentals Spain will normally try to help resolve any problems the Client may have during their stay.

The Client is responsible for the property occupied, and is expected to take reasonable care of it, leave it in a clean and tidy condition, and dispose of all of the group’s residues , rubbish, and recycling materials during occupation, and upon departure. All breakages must be replaced or paid for prior to guest departure. Some owners ask for a security deposit, refundable upon departure, subject to deductions for breakages or damage to the property.

Complaints Procedure

The Client should notify Holiday Rentals Spain immediately, of any complaints during their stay. This provides Holiday Rentals Spain with the opportunity to resolve any issues. If for any reason this is not possible, the Client must notify Holiday Rentals Spain in writing within two weeks of returning from your holiday.

Force majeure

Both parties are free from liability or obligation when an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond the control of the parties, such as a war, strike, riot, crime, or an act of God event such as hurricane, flooding, earthquake, volcanic eruption, etc.

However, if Holiday Rentals Spain has to cancel a booking due to other reasons, then a property of equal quality or better will be offered to the Client at no additional costs. If the client does not accept the property as a replacement, then full refund of the deposit will be made by Holiday Rentals Spain.


Holiday Rentals Spain is not responsible for any injury, illness or death, whilst the Client is using the holiday property supplied. Holiday Rentals Spain must be notified in writing of any claims for injury or illness due to alleged negligence before the end of any rental agreement.

Each property owner has their own Public Liability Insurance and any valid claim must be made directly against the owner of the property.
